START_PAUSE

Bottom Screen Toolbar - RECORD / PAUSE / STOP and other Session Controls
Most-used Buttons are highlighted . These used to control recording features.

Exit and Save: ends application with a Save Data Window, and returns you to the main menu.

Settings On/Off: Opens Saved Settings Window where protocols are stored for import.

Print Screen: Take a screen snaphot, in .Bmp format.

Record On/Off: turns on and off data recording. However use START BUTTONS to start most Applications.

Pause On/Off: pauses data recording when record is on.

Backup Recording: erases last interval of recorded data (example: 1 minute) and restarts recording from that time count.

Reset Screen: clears and restarts the displays. Use if signals are not in synchrony due to a threshold rest on one signal.

Freeze Screen : freezes the display. If record is on, data continues to be recorded.

AutoFreeze Screen : freezes the display at the end of a graph. This is only for scrolling graph displays, not bars. If record is on, data continues to be recorded. To un-freeze this window, this button and the Freeze button must both be disabled.

'MENU' - a finger-up icon, properties to be determined.

Help- context sensitive - not currently active.

Event Marker - pops up a text window and marks point on a RECORDED screen where event occurred. Limited to saving only 3 letters or numbers. Additional text is deleted. [ EVENT BUTTONS are found on new applications]

Select Task - opens the Task properties window. Tasks is an old term for sequential procedures, like stress profiles, picture presentations, or any timed series of events and screens. [The RECORD BUTTON replaces this in new applications]

Pause Game Window - a special pause button rarely used. It will pause a game fill in the middle of recording so you can talk to the patient

Temperature- Click to toggle between Fahrenhiet and Celsius

Pause Task - Pauses a recorded task. Rarely used.

Unpause task - Unpauses a recorded task - Rarely used.

EXITING SOMETIMES REQUIRES ADDITIONAL STEPS..
The black bottom window must be BLANK or PAUSED to EXIT & SAVE

The RECORD BUTTON has been replaced by a TASK START BUTTON in the SELECT TASK SCREEN.
TASK BUTTONS DO MANY THINGS THAT THE RECORD BUTTON CAN NOT DO:
1. Selects a Task
2. Selects a default session time.
3. Goes to a specific Master Screen
related to the Task.
4. Automatically turns on the Speaker
[Audio On].
5. Begins recording.

To extend or shorten recording, click on the Up/Down Time Control Button.

To extend or shorten recording, click on the Up/Down Time Control Button. Shows segment time remaining in sec.

THE 'RECORD BUTTON' is on the bottom toolbar.
It works for ALL application, but is recommended for old programs only.
It is preset to go for 20 minutes.
Time can be changed only if the screen has a Time Control Button.
All it does is record, or stop recording.
