The 'TASK MEANS WINDOW' is not necessary for clinical applications. Designed for paper-and-pencil reseach teams without a printer, it providec a live continuously updated table of all averaged [mean] signal values, updated with every recorded trial.
It was added years ago for in-the-field physiology studies that needed an ongoing tabular summary of physiology that could be written in a notebook.
