If more than one signal appears in the same display and if the signal names are clickable, it means that separate scales are available for each signal and that signals can be manipulated separately. Select the signal you wish to modify by clicking on the tiny colored square next to the name of the signal within the top of the display.
ABOVE ALL ELSE, HIGHLIGHT THE SIGNAL-BOX YOU WANT TO MODIFY.
TO CHANGE SETTINGS, FIRST HIGHLITE AN 'OBJECT.
A white dot in the center of the square indicates that particular signal is selected. Use the Signal Control Tool bar to modify the selected signal. If the signal names are not clickable, it means that the signals have the same scale and are locked together so that the signal controls modify all signals together.
To select an individual display from a multi-display screen, click on the display.
The display will become highlighted with light blue [or similar marker color] to indicate it has been selected and that the Signal Control buttons have been assigned to it. Now you can modify the signal using the icons on the left:
INDEPENDENT SIGNAL GRAPH TYPE:
Here the signal names are INDEPENDENTLY clickable: Just click on a solid 'BOX' [object] and adjust that signal.
NO HIGHLIGHTED BORDER
LITE BLUE HIGHLIGHTED BORDER
WHEN HIGHLIGHTED, THE SIGNAL BAR ICONS WILL CHANGE TO REFLECT THAT 'OBJECT'S' SIGNAL PROFILE.
CO-DEPENDENT SIGNAL GRAPH TYPE:
Here the signal names are not independently clickable: Just click on signal 'A' and it will adjust all signals - A & B & C. YOU CAN NOT CLICK ON 'B' OR 'C.'
TO SEPERATELY MODIFY SIGNALS, HIGHLIGHT THE SIGNAL-BOX YOU WANT TO MODIFY.
THERE ARE TWO DIFFERENT CONFIGURATIONS OF SIGNAL MODIFICATION GRAPHS
In both, a white dot in the center of the square indicates that particular signal is selected.
