Triple Electrode Cable with Ground - FOR EEG
Electrode Cable with ground (green) and two standard snaps (positive and negative) for  EEG. Uses standard J&J cup EEG Electrodes.
Dual Electrode Cable -no Ground - FOR EEG
This cable is also for EEG. It can be used for bipolar EEG across two sites, or monopolar settings where the negative is connected to the ear.
NOTE: Be sure you have the subject connected to a ground (green) lead on another sensor. Grounds are found on two sensors, the MC-5SGW, and the MC-6S-Y Green Skin Conductance lead. Use either or both.
This Sensor has only one lead. It is a positive lead. It's only use is for 4 channel EEG systems using a mono-polar montage (for the C2+12 model only).
The full set is as follows:
The first two EEG channels use dual-lead MC-5SW-/-Gs, for Channels A and B. These mono-leads are only for Channels C and D.
Be sure order two at a time (total of $70.00)
NOTE: If you want to do 4 channels of BiPolar signals, purchase 2 more MC-5SW's.

EEG Impedance Screen
This first screen is the hookup and electrode impedance screen.  It shows a skull with the 10-20 sites indicated by name. EEG hookups follow the 10-20 placement system -revised:.

Four EEG Channel Setup: The inputs to the EEG channels are shown as A+ B+ C+ and D+ for a four-channel application.  A four-channel application will have a Reference 1 and Reference 2 which will be connected as the mono polar reference.

Two EEG Channel Setup: A two-channel application will just have A+ and B+ and the references will be called A- and B-. In a two-channel application you have the option of switching between mono polar and bipolar configurations.

MAKE SURE GOUND IN ATTACHED: All EEG impedance test screens show the live impedance of each electrode to ground.  In additional to the digital reading in K-Ohms there are red-yellow-green colored dots indicating: green -  under 5K, yellow - between 5 and 10K, and  red -  over 10K.  Instructional information, if provided, appears in a panel.

ADD SITE LABELS: Label the channels with the site name as you are hooking up electrodes by clicking the site on the headmap, then clicking on the white space next to the corresponding channel to the right.  After the impedances are satisfactory, click the next screen to check raw signals and change site names if required.
MONO vs BIPOLAR SETTINGS:

In some applications, there is a MONO/BIPOLAR button, which allow modification.

Some EEG applications have a special  button MONO. This button toggles to BIPOLAR. When in Mono mode, only one reference is needed for Channels 3 and 4.In other words a single-lead electrode is used, one for Channel 3 and one for Channel 4. When in Bipolar mode, Channels 3 and 4 require dual-sensor cables for Channels 3 and 4. Most applications default to mono polar. A single or dual Channel application can be mono or bipolar by the way to set the negative sensor.: Linked ears for MONO, and a second 10-20 site for Bipolar.
This setting is saved during export. The usual default is Mono polar and need not be specified.
