NEWS, ANNOUNCEMENTS FROM J&J
April, 2011: We have a new Web site. It is a work in progress. Customers have requested lots more information on products, features, and tutorials. Check back frequently for updates and additions.
November, 2007: We made our multi-purpose EEG - EMG - ECG cables MC-5SGW & MC-5SG even stronger! The cables are fully shielded and about 3 times stronger, with a complete molded snap-on head that curves around the end of the cable and anchors it securely. The shielded cables go all the way to the electrode cup, making a noise-free connection.
November, 2007: We added an Input Extension Cable [ EX-36]. This connector acts as an extension cord, one per input. It is fully shielded. It is great for couples or groups, or longer EMG leads for mobility training. For situations which require a longer total length cable to the attached sensors
November, 2010: We updated Incontinence Pro . This is our very first program that writes a Progress Report for you, now updated for USB 2.0.
You and your client fill out a Voiding Symptom Scale, rank progress along several symptom dimensions, add client age, history and Insurance / Medicare Coverage Number. This is automatically included in the Physiology Report. The results of Pelvic/Abdominal Muscle Training is also written up. The program includes a cleaver artificial intelligence module that quantifies success at Squeezing-Holding, and Release Instructions. The results are included in the printed report in paragraphs noting the percent success over a session and across sessions. Want more? The Biofeedback screen is super-simple - just two EMG graphs. Each 10 minute Task is either full relaxation or a Squeeze-Release Task. Instructions are provided from a built-in audio tract in English. What could be easier? See Software for details
FEBRUARY, 2008:
Our latest software, PhysioLab Plus, has been extensively re-structured for the 2008 release. We are proud to present it in this Website.
NEW EASY-TO-LEARN FORMAT: We know how frustrating it can be to try to learn 'feedback software. Particularly when there are so many different protocols.
Our solution?
1. Make software easier. For over 3 years we have been working with beta-testers world-wide to make learning easier and applicable to a wide range of providers. The Basic Suite starts with a single feedback application, EMG, and shows how to master it. You learn how to select protocols, select client screens, record and save data, and make a quality report. Got it? Then go on to mere complex applications: Temperature, Skin conductance. Then, if you wish, learn to combine EMG, Temperature and Skin Conductance. Learn at your own speed and use just what you need.
Then switch to Cardio-Respiration protocols like HR Waves, HRV and RSA training.
2. Develop a mentor database. We are adding professionals around the country who are willing to train new customers. You work out details with them.
3. Provide Training Workshops: We regularly provide training at biofeedback and neurofeedback conferences. We also support Training Centers who provide general and J&J-specific seminars.
NEWS
April, 2011: At last, you can record exhaled CO2 levels along with C2 Plus signals. C02 monitoring comes to the J&J C2 Plus. This unit attaches to a second USB port. Software integrates this signal with other signals from the C2 Plus.
December, 2010: J&J introduces a new PPG sensor for the C2 Plus. This PPG unit attaches as a slow channel. There is no Y-connector, so it occupies one input by itself. Software integrates this signal with other signals from the C2 Plus.
